Memories from the Fair & Beyond

Fair History
Founded in 1855, the Winnebago County Fair began in Oshkosh, evolving through various locations and organizations. By 1872, it settled on 60 acres at Jackson Drive. Overcoming challenges like the 1885 tornado, the fair thrived. In 1910, it became the Winnebago County Fair Association, which continues to oversee it today.

Past Fairest of the Fair
We continue to work on building a photographic history of the Winnebago County FOTF program. If you were a past Fairest (or know someone who was), please reach out to us! We would love to hear your story and see your photos.
