Make sure to SECURE ALL PERMITS and KNOW ALL SAFETY REGULATIONS that are applicable to your business/booth-type BEFORE the start of the County Fair. The Fair and all it’s exhibitors/vendors are subject to compliance inspections at the event. It is the responsibility of the vendor to know the specific codes, licenses and regulations pertaining to their business.

Temporary event operators must complete and submit Form S-240 with information about each event vendor to the WI Department of Revenue (DOR) within 10 business days after the close of the event.

A temporary event is an occasion, activity, or function at which merchandise is sold or traded or taxable services are provided. An event can be on one or consecutive days. It may reoccur on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.
